Born to Die Tracklist:
“born to die” by lana del rey is most definitely one of the best albums i’ve ever heard, along with all of lana’s other albums. from “born to die” to “this is what makes us girls”, all of the songs are just beautiful. i love this album, and lana, so much <3
Where can I start??? Lana’s song summertime sadness brought so much meaningful memories back to me... I just love it .... it is so aesthetic and dreamy yet mysterious and so beautiful. If I could give 10 stars I would .... She’s honestly the best
I love this album so much I literally have it on my wall on a shirt as me screen saver and I literally get my friends and family to start singing the songs ! This album will forever have a spot in my heart it makes me feel Alive and inspired me to make my own music! I love it
Imagine not stanning someone who started whole wave of artists after her? Such as Halsey, Melanie, Billie Eilish *who is now charting*. This is a legendary album and her voice is so different and beautiful! She gives me nostalgic vibez with her voice and the sounds she puts into this album. It’s so dark yet dreamy!🙏🏽 I came across her in 2017 and I don’t regret listening to her cuz she is now my favorite singer of all time! She is the Queen of Alternative and people who think this album is wack have no taste or know how this album has impacted alternative singers after her!!! She is an inspiration to many female singers in alternative!(Halsey, Melanie Martinez, Billie Eilish) Her sound is rare and heavenly! I 100% RECOMMEND this essential album. She’s truly one of a king!
Born To Die has always been one of my favorite pop albums. Not only is it pop, but it includes elements of indie, alternative, rock, and electronica; with a strong influence of retro Americana themes. These tracks highlight a lot of classic cliché lyrics (“kiss me hard in the pouring rain,”) (“take a walk on the wild side”) but I think that’s the point! The hallmark of americana culture (old and new) with an incredible touch of modern music styles. Some might say that Lana Del Rey is a bit “melodramtic” or “boy crazy” but the themes in her lyrics are undeniably real and relatable to many fans.
